In the "Game of Thrones" season six premiere, Ser Davos Seaworth discovered that Jon Snow had been killed by mutineers in the Night's Watch and recovered the young Lord Commander's body.
Ser Davos asked one of Jon's friends to bring Melisandre to their headquarters and hinted that the red priestess might be able to use her magic to help bring the Lord Commander back.
If you're a fan of "Game of Thrones," then check out our list of the three ways Jon Snow could return from the dead.
3. Melisandre Uses Her Power To Resurrect Jon
In "Game of Thrones" season three, Melisandre was talking to her friend Thoros of Myr and was shocked when he admitted that he brought Beric Dondarrion back to life.
At the end of the "Game of Thrones" season six premiere, the show implied that Melisandre had lost her faith in the god Rh'llor.
Previously, Thoros of Myr mentioned to Melisandre that he too had lost his faith in Rh'llor and it was only renewed after the deity brought Beric back from the dead.
It is possible that Melisandre will say a prayer over Jon's body in order to placate Ser Davos but Rh'llor will bring the Lord Commander back to life in order to show the red priestess that her faith was not misplaced.
2. The Three-Eyed Raven Brings Jon Back To Life
At the end of the fourth season of "Game of Thrones," Jon's younger half-brother Bran Stark finally met the mysterious Three-Eyed Raven, who promised to teach the young man how to control his psychic abilities. It is possible the Three-Eyed Raven will use the power of the old gods to bring Jon back to life, especially if Cnet is right and he is the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen.
1. Thoros Of Myr Resurrects Jon From The Dead
Watchers On The Wall reported that Paul Kaye, who played Thoros of Myr in "Game of Thrones" season three, hinted that his character would return in the sixth season. Perhaps Thoros of Myr has a premonition about Jon's death and arrives at the Wall just in time to help Ser Davos fight the mutineers. It is possible that after the fight, Thoros will use his magic to bring the young Lord Commander back to life.
"Game of Thrones" is currently airing on Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
