"Bitten" will come to an end tonight, and its stars are starting to say goodbye.
Laura Vandervoort, who plays the world's sole woman werewolf Elena, has shared her thoughts about the show's end in an interview with E Talk.
Speaking of playing her first lead role in a series, the actress said: "I obviously have very fond memories of the entire experience. I know that personally it was my first time carrying a show as a lead and I definitely grew as an individual throughout the three seasons, just trying new things on camera, and being more vulnerable and open to my character for the audience."

Vandervoort also shared her thoughts about her character's progress over the three seasons and if the end was satisfying to her in terms of her character's growth.
"By season three Elena becomes alpha," the actress said. "And similar to her being empowered and taking on this responsibility, I felt like I've accomplished these two seasons that I'm proud of, and this third season I just want to go for it, I want to try new things and new techniques."

Meanwhile, actors Greg Byrk and Steve Lund have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts about the show's end.
"How full my hands, even after letting go. How full my heart. My love. Always," Byrk said in a tweet, tagging his castmates.
"Guys, I'm not ready... #bitten ends tonight on @Syfy," said Lund.
Fans of the series have tried to save it. A petition was started and a hashtag was mobilized, but nothing has come out of it. Fans were hoping that Netflix might save the series but a word from the streaming service company has yet to come out.
"Bitten" first aired in 2014.
