"House of Cards" star Nathan Darrow, who played Frank Underwood's (Kevin Spacey) loyal bodyguard Edward Meechum, has one specific request from fans: Don't give him any of the show's season 4 spoilers.

"I've seen a few episodes past Meechum's big event," Darrow told Yahoo TV. "Don't tell me anything."

Darrow explained that he is currently working on a lot of things and this is why he is unable to catch up with the political drama. As of the moment, he's playing the villain Mr. Freeze in "Gotham." He is also working on the "beautiful, sad" series "Rectify," as well as HBO's Bernie Madoff movie, alongside Rober De Niro.

"Yeah, that's mostly it. It's just having the time to sit down and give it the attention. I'm also just not a very organized person, but I do have a lot that I'm working on, thankfully," he said.

Going back to "House of Cards," Darrow said that Meechum's death is pretty sad because he has grown attached to the character. He loves that Meechum's loyalty is "pure" and "not adulterated by anything blatantly self-serving."

However, Darrow understands that Meechum's death is inevitable. When former showrunner Beau Willimon told him about it, he actually thought that Meechum's death for his boss is a "great" way to go.

"I think it was totally right for Meechum's character. I thought it was great. The only problem I had with it was that Frank even took one piece of a bullet. If I'd have written it, he would've gotten away completely unscathed," he said.

Another character who is loyal to Underwood is Michael Kelly's Doug Stamper. The actor told The Telegraph that he was glad he got more scenes with Spacey during season 4. Stamper is a recovering alcoholic, so his issue got in the way of his work, and his time with his boss in season 3 got minimized.

"It was nice to go to work as Doug in sweat pants and a t-shirt [rather than Stamper's traditional suit and tie] for a year," he said. "But part of me missed being with Kevin. We went from sharing two or three scenes a day to four scenes over a season."

Catch "House of Cards" season 5 next year on Netflix.
