Ben and Jessa Seewald's 5-month-old son Spurgeon Elliot is going to take his first international trip to Central America, where he will meet his 1-year-old cousin Israel David Dillard for the first time.
The sneak peak for Tuesday's "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" episode showed how Spurgeon's parents scrambled with the trip preparations and sought the help of the most organized Duggar sibling - Jill Dillard, who immediately made a list of all the things Spurgeon will need such as bug spray, sunscreen, wipes, and diapers.
Spurgeon's dad Ben was even surprised by the number of diapers his son uses in a day. Ben assumed that Spurgeon only needed around three to four diapers, but his wife Jessa told him that they actually use at least seven.
The Seewalds' visit will also be the first time that Jill and Jessa will be with each other in person after the latter gave birth to Spurgeon.
Jill and her family had to go back to Central America to fulfill their Christian ministry while Jessa went into labor, so their separation was definitely a difficult time for both girls, who grew up very close.
Jill even wrote a heartfelt letter to Jessa back then, saying that she was glad she got to be a part of her childbirth process even if it was just through video calls and messages.
"I'm so excited to both be on this motherhood journey together! I pray our boys will love Jesus with their heart, soul, mind and strength and love others more than themselves!" Jill wrote. "We will have to let them FaceTime frequently while we are down here. It will be so fun to see them experiencing things and going [through] similar stages within a few months of each other. I'm sure since they were about the same size at birth they'll be sharing clothes too."
