"Pretty Little Liars" star Shay Mitchell has starred in her first big film, "Mother's Day."
The actress, who appears in the film alongside Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston and Kate Hudson, among many others, shared her experience working on the project.
"I just couldn't believe it," Mitchell told Hello! Canada. "I think the entire time I was like, 'pinch me!'"
The actress also admitted that working with Roberts, Aniston and Hudson was nerve-wracking for her.
"Oh my gosh, absolutely. I was playing opposite Jen which was quite surreal," Mitchell said. "Obviously getting to work with Garry Marshall and getting to play the new wife to Timothy Olyphant is not really a bad set up."
Despite her nerves, Mitchell was able to give a satisfying performance through the help of her castmates, whom she said were very warm and friendly.

"It was them just making me feel comfortable and being a really positive energy on set," the actress said. "They showed me that even with all that success and everything, you can still be excited to be where you are and very grateful."
Mitchell was comfortable enough to be surrounded by the cast and directed by Marshall that she agreed to don a bikini for a scene, which was not something she expected at first.
"He's the only one who could get me into a bikini, I'll tell you that much because I was not prepared for that," the actress said about Marshall during an appearance on the "Today Show."
She recalled the experience, saying: "I was at craft service, [due on] set in 10 minutes, and he was like, 'Shay, can you please take off the cover-up?' And I'm like, 'What? After eating a bag of Hot Cheetos! You want me to what? Take off my cover [up]?' He's like, 'Please do it for the movie.' Only Garry Marshall could get me to do that!"
Catch Mitchell in "Mother's Day" on April 29, and on "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 in June.
