There have been persistent rumors of "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson and singer FKA Twigs fighting all the time because of jealousy and chaotic wedding planning. Now, it seems like all the arguments have finally caught up with them because Pattinson reportedly called the wedding off.
"It's been a long time coming. They were fighting all the time," a source told InTouch Weekly.
The source added that "Rob felt trapped" and the wedding planning was a "major drag" for him.
To make matters worse, Pattinson saw Twigs' true colors during the event planning, and he did not like it.
"[She] isn't the girl for him. She's very jealous and he was sick of having to explain himself," the insider said. "He's still young and just decided he wasn't ready to settle down."
Pattinson is a very private person, and he appears to be superstitious as well. The actor earlier told Numero Magazine that he does not like talking about things that haven't even taken place yet because he does not want to "jinx" things.
"I've accepted the idea that it takes time for the most amazing projects to come into existence. Crazy things are the most fragile things. Sometimes they collapse," he said.
Another thing that Pattinson refuses to talk about in length is his upcoming clothing design project.
"I've started making clothes. For the last two years, I've been visiting producers and craftsmen. There's already quite a few pieces. I love doing it," he said.
Pattinson added that he has a unique design aesthetic, which is usually inspired by the cities he visits. He loves going to different places to source fabrics and local skills.
"In Los Angeles, it's really easy to work with denim and do workwear inspired clothes. In England, I look more towards wool and knitwear. What I do is pretty multifaceted, clothes for men and for women, things that I make with friends," said Pattinson.
