New spoilers for "The Flash" season two hinted that Caitlin Snow is going to meet her Earth-2 doppelganger Killer Frost during episode 19.
Previously on "The Flash," Caitlin begged Hunter Zolomon (Zoom) to not kill Barry Allen. Even though he honored her request, Hunter stole Barry's speed and took Caitlin back to Earth-2.
Carter Matt reported that the CW released a comic book preview for episode 19 that revealed Caitlin is going to come face-to-face with her Earth-2 doppelganger, Killer Frost.
The comic hinted that Caitlin is going to have a heart-to-heart conversation with her twin and it is possible Killer Frost will help her doppelganger escape from Zoom.
Caitlin is also imprisoned in a cell next to the mysterious man in the iron mask and there is a good chance she will realize his constant tapping is a code.
Perhaps the mysterious man will use the code to reveal his true identity or give Caitlin vital information that could help Barry regain his speed from Zoom.
Aside from Caitlin meeting Killer Frost, "The Flash" star Teddy Sears hinted to TVLine that viewers are going to find out why Zoom kidnapped his ex-girlfriend by the end of episode 19.
"Caitlin is not going to chip away at Hunter's defenses, which is kind of refreshing," he said. "We eventually pierce the armor and see why he's taken her, although his exact agenda for his ex-girlfriend will not be immediately clear. Caitlin is right to worry though. Hunter is broken and he's not a linear, levelheaded guy. He eventually makes a decision which gets us to where we go next."
It is possible that Caitlin is also a metahuman and Hunter is trying to activate her powers.
If Caitlin has the same abilities as Killer Frost, perhaps Hunter wants to have two women who can control ice on his side, especially if Barry is determined to get his speed back.
"The Flash" is currently airing on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on the CW.
