This week on "Fear the Walking Dead" we will see the group separated. Alicia and Travis have been taken captive by the pirates who hijacked the Abigail, and Nick and Madison are going to find a way to get them back.
During the "Fear the Walking Dead" season premiere, Alicia made a bit of a rookie move and decided to converse with a voice over the radio by the name of Jack. Alicia, trying to be a good samaritan, tells Strand that there are some people in trouble and asks to pick them up. Strand warns her, but Alicia does not see the harm in helping strangers in need. Suffice it to say, Alicia learns her lesson when Jack and his crew take over the Abigail.
The pirates, who are under the tutelage of someone named Connor (Mark Kelly), believe that Travis and Alicia are of use to them. They take those two, and leave the rest on the boat to die. Luckily, just as the pirates are getting ready to kill everyone, Nick and Strand's associate show up and kill all of the pirates and maim one of them.
We already know that Daniel is a torturer, and judging by the promo clip, it looks like Daniel is going to take advantage of that when it comes to maimed pirate Reed (Jesse McCartney). Hopefully, Daniel's special skill set helps our protagonists assemble and find Travis and Alicia.
Madison seems a little uneasy with the idea that she will have to rely on Nick and Chris to help her, thereby putting them directly in harms way.
Meanwhile, Travis and Alicia are being held captive in what looks like a cell. Travis tells Alicia, through a wired gate, "If you have a way out, take it."
"I'll come back for you," Alicia replies.
It could be that Alicia finds her way out, leaving Travis to deal with Connor and his crew.
