It seemed like only yesterday when "Full House" fans eagerly awaited for the reboot "Fuller House" to air. Now, season 1 is through and there is another period of waiting before season 2 airs.
But John Stamos, who plays Jesse Katsopolis in the series, is telling fans not to worry because they are working on finishing season 2 as quickly as possible.
"They actually sort of put a rush on it. I don't think they've announced the dates, but they're going to be a lot sooner than we released last year's," he told E! News.
"Last year we had a very fast prep time to get the scripts and stories done. This year we got ahead of it and I think, out of the 13 I feel like there's already like 10 scripts done," Stamos continued. "The writers are really working hard over there and they're great."
The actor added that they are going "full steam" ahead for season 2, and it's easier now because they already know all the movements of the cast and their respective characters.
To sweeten the pot, Stamos even teased that there would be some surprise guest stars.
"There are a few guest stars that could be surprises for everybody that I'm working on, but as far as the show, we're just in a better place to make a good, solid sitcom now," he said.
Fans immediately got excited that Stamos' guest stars would be the Olsen twins.
But Stamos dodged the theory and simply said, "I don't know what to say anymore! I've said it. I can't say it anymore. They're 100 percent welcome and I would love them to do the show this year."
Earlier, Stamos' co-star Lori Loughlin revealed that fans of "Full House" really loved their spinoff, and she feels happy that the reviews for the spinoff have been positive.
"I haven't read one bad review. I don't even know what they are," she told CBS News.
The release date for "Fuller House" season 2 is yet to be announced.
