It’s no secret that Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor share great on-screen chemistry together after seeing their steamy performance in Imtiaz Ali’s film, "Tamasha" and "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani."
Kapoor and Padukone had a lot of success with their movie “Tamasha,” and now a deleted scene from the film has just been revealed after the movie made it’s TV debut.
The clip shows Kapoor’s character, Ved, going through an intense emotional breakdown in front of Padukone’s character, Tara, who went over to his place to sort out their issues. In the version that was released in theaters, the scene was reversed. Ved went over to Tara’s place, resulting in an awkward, forceful confrontation.
However, in the deleted scene, Ved also forces himself onto Tara, seemingly to prove a point, but that too is missing from the scene that finally made the cut.
Now, Kapoor and Padukone are reportedly coming together again for a new movie. The two of them have apparently been meeting up to talk about new movie plans.
Padukone and Kapoor have been spotted together several times. First Padukone went to Kapoor’s house in Mumbai on her way to Sri Lanka for a friends wedding. Then they met up in L.A., where she was shooting for her Hollywood film, “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.”
Now, according to My Republica, Kapoor and Padukone were spotted meeting up again on the sets her upcoming Hollywood movie in L.A. and they apparently spend some quality time together.
All these meet-ups were apparently to discuss plans for their new upcoming movie with Karan Johar.
According to Spotboye (via FilmiBeat), the movie revolves around a couple that goes on a road trip and how it changes with perspective. Johar is impressed with the story and apparently approached Padukone and Kapoor to be the leading actors in the film.
