There have been several rumors regarding the relationship between Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif after they were spotted in Ibiza together.
While the couple tried to maintain a low profile, the two have been spotted together sharing the same house, but it looks like things have gone all downhill.
Recent rumors circulated that Kaif and Kapoor officially split. The “Tamasha” actor has reportedly moved out of their apartment on Carter Road, and is now reportedly living with his parents for some time.
A variety of rumors have been circulating regarding Kapoor and Kaif’s breakup, and now his father Rishi is speaking up about the split.
During an interview with Bollywood Life (via Zee News), Rishi hinted at something very crucial, saying, “He’s had to relationships in the past with his co-actresses. We’ve had no problem. It’s up to him who he wants as a wife, as a girlfriend or work with as a co-actor.”
Besides Kaif, Ranbir has also dated Deepika Padukone, and Rishi implied that his son and Kaif are officially split.
Previous reports stated that Kaif was removed from the Kapoor’s family circle.
According to Times of India, Kaif has been removed from the Kapoor family’s WhatsApp group. Reports state that his aunt, Ritu Nanda, who is the group admin, has removed Kaif from the group.
Things are apparently complicated between Kaif and Kapoor. They both attended their common friend Aarti Shetty’s birthday party over the weekend. The former lovers were spotted at the bash and reportedly didn’t interact with each other that much and arrived separately.
According to Filmi Beat, one source who was also at the party said, “Aarti is a common friend, they couldn’t have missed attending her birthday. They were at the party at the same time and also spoke to each other cordially. What’s more, they seemed pretty comfortable around each other.”
However, another source from the party claims that Kapoor and Kaif exchanged hellos, but did it just for the sake of it, and not out of genuine care for each other.
Another source claimed that the former couple completely ignored each other, and were standing in different corners of the same room.
“Ranbir left early and Kat followed in a couple of minutes. There was no interaction whatsoever,” said the source to Bollywood Life.
