Theo James' girlfriend Ruth Kearney seems to enjoy working with her "Flaked" co-star Will Arnett because she considers herself one lucky girl to act alongside him in the series.
"He's really, really funny, and really nice and really generous. He's just a very down-to-earth cool guy, so I think I really lucked out," Kearney told Fox News Magazine. "[Arnett and co-writer Mark Chappell] were very much wanting to make it real and authentic for everyone, and they really allowed discoveries to be made when we were doing scenes or little bits of improv."
In real life, Kearney is going steady with James of "Divergent" fame. Despite their happy union, fans are persistently linking James to his leading lady Shailene Woodley because of their amazing on-screen chemistry.
There have been constant reports of jealousy coming from Kearney's side. But given her statements about Arnett, should James be the jealous party now?
Whatever the case may be, Kearney and James seem to be doing well with their relationship by steering clear of gossip. The couple does not have any social media accounts and doesn't plan on signing up for Twitter, Facebook or Instagram anytime soon.
James told Flaunt Magazine that he wants to keep "elements of my private life" to himself so he would rather do away with social media posts.
"I don't have it and I never will. Other actors I know are really good at it and they rock and roll it, but it's not for me," he said. "If I post a picture of us having a drink now and get loads of views or comments and stuff, then suddenly you're quite exposed and you're in a world of work. I just like being present."
"I think people struggle with that now, being present in a time and place," he added. "There's a lot of talk about mindfulness now and that's about the ability to be present and not constantly affected by erroneous sources around you-that stimulus through a computer or through worries. It's about being fully present."
"Flaked" started airing on Netflix on March 11.
