New spoilers for "The Flash" season two hinted that there is a good chance that a main character will die in the upcoming finale.
DC All Access reported that "The Flash" star Tom Cavanagh hinted Zoom is going to kill someone off during in the season two finale.
Given the fact that Henry Allen returned to Central City in "Rupture," it is possible that Zoom will kill Barry's father in an attempt to keep the young speedster off-kilter so he would not have the emotional strength required to fight back.
Aside from Cavanagh hinting someone dies in the finale, his co-star Carlos Valdes revealed to Entertainment Weekly that Cisco Ramon is going to use his powers to help Barry stop Zoom.
"Cisco's confidence will keep growing and his powers will keep developing," he said. "He is going to keep learning new things about his abilities and how to make the best use of them. His powers start to prove a vital function in stopping Zoom. Fans can expect his powers to come through in a clutch."
Valdes added that Team Flash is going to band together to fight Zoom in the finale and each member of the team will have a vital role to play when it comes to stopping the evil speedster.
"Everybody on the team has their own unique function to play when it comes to stopping Zoom," he explained. "It becomes riveting in that way. Every cog in the plan depends on the other cogs. It's a completely interdependent system. Everybody has to be focused and the plan has to go through without a hitch. There are no backup plans anymore. This is it. The energy funnels itself into this big showdown event that takes place in the finale. Cisco, like everybody else, plays a vital function, and his powers have a lot to do with that."
"The Flash" season two is currently airing on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on the CW.
