Bubblegum pink hair is back -- for winter! The trend was all the rage during festival season this summer, but stars including Hilary Duff, Miranda Lambert, Kendall Jenner and Christa B. Allen are proving that the color works just as well in the cold winter months.

Hilary Duff is the most recent star to go pink. The “Younger” star debuted her new shade - and a shorter, choppier bob - on January 21 while leaving Nine Zero One salon in Beverly Hills. Co-owners Nikki Lee and Riawna Capri worked with stylist Amber Maynard-Bolt to create a “fun and flirty iced sorbert pink look.” Hilary showed off her new look on Instagram shortly after, using a unicorn emoji.

Hilary isn’t the only star to rock pastel pink in recent months. Miranda Lambert famously debuted pink streaks at the CMAs in November, making a major hairstyle change on the heels of her divorce announcement. Miranda’s hairstylist Johnny Lavoy told People that they wanted to do something “fun and different” and “it’s no secret that Miranda’s favorite color is pink.”

Kendall Jenner temporarily dyed her hair pastel pink for her sister Kim Kardashian’s birthday party in October, Cara Santana chose an icier shade in November, and “Revenge” star Christa B. Allen joined the crowd in December with an Instagram photo captioned, “and some days you wake up and dye your hair cotton candy pink.”

Up-and-coming model Pyper America Smith took the trend one step further and created a video for Teen Vogue showing herself dying her hair pink - all by herself. “It makes me feel like an enchanted unicorn jumping over a huge rainbow! I love it,” she said.
