After being turned down by Kaitlyn Bristowe on the last season of “The Bachelorette,” Ben Higgins finally found his future wife on "The Bachelor." Higgins and Lauren Bushnell are enjoying their life as an engaged couple and are ready to start their future together.
On March 14, we watched Higgins leave Bushnell in tears of joy as he got down on one knee to propose on the season finale of “The Bachelor.”
Now that “The Bachelor” is finally over and it is no longer a mystery as to who Higgins proposed to, the happy couple can publicly post updates about their relationship.
“The Bachelor” couple are adjusting to their life in Denver, and so far it appears they couldn’t be happier with their life together away from the cameras.
During an interview with ET, the couple made it clear that they are very serious about each other and they are definitely thinking about kids in the future. Higgins and Bushnell both want children, and judging by her social media, Higgins is already preparing.
Bushnell posted a picture of Higgins feeding Bushnell’s friend’s daughter a bottle, kissing her on the forehead.
“We both want a family, and it’s something that we talked about early on, when we met, and I want three kids, two [or] three. I don’t know how soon that’s going to take place, because we also want to enjoy life together,” said Bushnell.
“But it’s nothing that we’re scared of. We can handle it,” added Higgins.
Higgins and Bushnell revealed that their relationship is now their first priority.
“Right now, I am going back to work and focusing on our relationship and moving to Denver,” said Bushnell.
"There is one main goal for me now, and that's us, and I think right now, Lauren and I being together is my main concern," Higgins also said about not joining this season of "Dancing With the Stars," unlike what previous Bachelor stars have done. "I don't think adding too much more to that right now is the right thing."
