After trying to mend his past relationship, Justin Bieber had finally reportedly moved on from Selena Gomez with Hailey Baldwin.
Previous reports stated that Baldwin and Bieber were dating, but it seems like the two have gone their separate ways. Although they apparently still remain good friends, the model reveals what it’s like dating the “What Do You Mean” singer.
While Baldwin and Bieber were together, various rumors circulated that he had a fling with Kourtney Kardashian and still has feelings for Selena Gomez. It sounds like it was too much for the model to handle, and she’s now revealing how difficult it is to date someone as famous as Bieber.
“I don’t want attention out of dating somebody. Texts started coming through, crazy phone calls...it’s hard to date somebody in this industry,” said Baldwin in an interview with Marie Claire. “You have to have really thick skin and be very strong. You have to focus on the person and nothing else.”
Baldwin admitted that she’s a very sensitive person, so the haters made her dating life more difficult.
“I’m the type of person where I let things slide,” said Baldwin. “I push it to the side. And then finally explode every so often, but by myself. I’ve been in situations with friends [when] someone will have said something that really hurt my feelings, so I sit there choking tears back.”
Last month, Baldwin said that she is “totally single” and not dating anyone at the moment.
“Hailey is not dating anyone at this time, just hanging out with her friends and working,” said a source to E! News, adding that her current relationship with Bieber is just as friends. “Bieber and Hailey are still close friends, but he is on tour and extremely busy now, so they have not seen each other that much. Bieber and Hailey love each other but have a good understanding where they both stand at the moment.”
During an interview with GQ magazine for their March issue, Bieber opened up about his relationship with Baldwin. The “Sorry” singer admitted that the model is “someone I really love,” and says, “We spend a lot of time together.”
At the 2016 amfAR New York Gala, held at Cipriani Wall Street, Baldwin expressed her thoughts to E! News about Bieber’s comments about her to GQ magazine.
“I think it’s awesome,” said Baldwin. “It wasn’t a surprise to me. I knew it was coming out.”
