The highly anticipated K-drama "Moon Lovers" is wrapping up its cast and getting ready to film!
Days after the "Moon Lovers" team revealed that actress IU and actor Lee Joon Gi will play the lead couple, Girls' Generation's Seohyun confirmed to play a supporting role to IU's character, according to Inquisitr.
Girls' Generation's Seohyun is set to play princess Woo Hwe, the last princess of Later Baekje. The former princess, who is a talented dancer, works as a geisha and throws dance performances in Koryo dynasty. Although many men pursue her, Woo Hwe keeps her nobility.

The K-drama "Moon Lovers," which is based on the Chinese series "Bu Bu Jing Xin (Scarlet Heart)," evolves around a girl named Hae Soo (IU) who accidentally slips back in time to Koryo dynasty. In the 900s, which is the timeframe the drama is set, Hae Soo befriends princess Woo Hwe (Girls' Generation's Seohyun). It is quite possible that princess Woo Hwe will help Hae Soo navigate through culture, customs and politics of Koryo dynasty which, we're sure, is quite different from those of present day Korea.
In addition to actors Lee Joon Gi, IU and Seohyun, the star-studded cast of "Moon Lovers" includes actors Ji Soo, Baekhyun (EXO), Kang Ha Neul, Nam Joo Hyuk, Hong Jong Hyun and more.
