TBT to when Mandy Moore and Wilmer Valderrama started dating in 2000 and broke our hearts with when they split in 2002. They both eventually moved on to other people, and it seemed like that was the end of it.

But, lo! They ran into each other on the Paramount Studios lot in Los Angeles on Wednesday and snapped some selfies that they posted on Instagram.

And how sweet are those captions? And this means there's still some hope for all of us because Moore and Valderrama have just proven that it's possible to stay friends with an ex after a split.
